Upcoming Trailer Previews Story and Gameplay for Attack on Titan 3 on PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC
Koei Tecmo America has announced that Attack on Titan 3 will officially launch on December 10. The game is scheduled to release for PlayStation 5, the successor to the Nintendo Switch (referred to as Switch 2), Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A newly released promotional video offers fans a closer look at both the narrative and the combat mechanics:
In addition to the standard version, a Digital Deluxe Edition will be available, featuring a digital artbook, three distinct costumes, seven creator parts, and a variety of other bonus in-game items. A physical SteelBook edition featuring ICONART will also be released.
At launch, the title will include text support for Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, accompanied by original Japanese voice acting.
According to Koei Tecmo Games:
Attack on Titan 3 serves as the definitive conclusion to the action game series, chronicling the entire saga from the early days of the Survey Corps all the way to its dramatic finale.
For the first time, players will be able to ready their blades for combat against the formidable Nine Titans, while uncovering deeper lore and character backgrounds through brand-new story scenarios.
The title encompasses the entire narrative arc of the anime series. Furthermore, MAPPA is producing a brand-new opening sequence, which will be integrated into the game via a post-launch update.
The franchise’s previous entry, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s Attack on Titan 2, originally launched in North America and Europe in March 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam, arriving simultaneously in Japan alongside a PlayStation Vita version.
That release was later expanded with Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, which added characters and missions corresponding to the anime’s third season, arriving in Japan in July 2019 and expanding to Western platforms just a day later.
