The official YouTube channel for the BanG Dream! franchise has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming feature-length anime, BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora, while also confirming its theatrical release date for October 16, 2026.
While specific plot details and the main production crew are still under wraps, the movie will center on the band Ave Mujica, formed by Sakiko Togawa alongside Uika Misumi, Mutsumi Wakaba, Umiri Yahata, and Nyama Yutendji.
The original television anime was produced by studio Sanzigen, directed by Kodai Kakimoto, with scripts supervised by Yuniko Ayana and a musical score by Elements Garden. It remains unconfirmed if these key staff members will return for prima aurora.
Following the January 2025 premiere of the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica TV series, this new film is slated to act as a narrative bridge leading directly into the next franchise entry, BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!!/Ave Mujica, which is scheduled to debut in January 2027.
