More Bleach Skins Are Coming to Fortnite
Following the initial arrival of four iconic Bleach characters—Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida, and Orihime Inoue—into the battle royale phenomenon Fortnite, developer plans confirm that the collaboration is expanding. Kisuke and Yoruichi are set to debut in the item shop on Friday, August 7, at 8 PM ET. While official pricing details remain under wraps at the moment, standard bundle pricing for the characters and their associated gear is anticipated to fall somewhere between 3,000 and 4,000 V-Bucks.
The timing couldn’t be better for a major Fortnite crossover. With Part 4 of the continuation series, Thousand-Year Blood War, actively broadcasting new episodes, enthusiasm for the franchise is at an all-time high. Because Thousand-Year Blood War adapts the final narrative arc of the original manga, long-time followers who picked up the series back in the 2000s are currently witnessing the momentous conclusion of an era.
Even though the main anime journey is nearing its conclusion, the broader universe shows no signs of slowing down. Beyond their recent crossover appearances in Fortnite, fans can look forward to seeing Ichigo and his allies featured in future crossover projects as well as potential standalone video games. Bandai Namco is currently developing a brand-new mobile game titled Bleach: Mirrors High, slated for release this summer. Rather than simply retelling familiar arcs from the source material, Mirrors High will feature an entirely fresh, original storyline. Players will step into the shoes of a custom Soul Reaper, interacting with a fresh cast of characters crafted by series creator Tite Kubo. While mobile adaptations aren’t for everyone, this upcoming release—alongside the fresh Fortnite cosmetics and ongoing anime episodes—ensures that enthusiasts have plenty of reasons to celebrate.
