During their panel at Otakon 2026 on Friday, AnimEigo revealed a fresh slate of upcoming home video licenses.

Fans of culinary drama can look forward to a Blu-ray release of Antique Bakery scheduled for 2027. Originally airing in 2008, the 12-episode anime adapts Fumi Yoshinaga‘s 1999 manga of the same name.
The English manga release by Digital Manga Publishing summarizes the premise:
Ono has come a long way since the agonizing day in high school when he confessed his love to handsome Tachibana. Now, some 14 years later Ono, a world-class pastry chef and outed playboy has it all. No man can resist Ono’s charms (or his cooking skills!) but he has just found a new position under a man named Tachibana. Can this be the only man who resisted his charms, and if so, will the man who once snubbed the “magically gay” Ono get his just desserts? And how in the heck did a former middleweight boxing champion wind up as Ono’s cake boy?
The series was previously distributed on DVD by Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment between 2011 and 2014.

In late 2027, AnimEigo will roll out a 4K restoration of Dog of Flanders: The Movie on Blu-ray. This definitive release will include both the uncut original version and the edited Pioneer English dub, which notably features Robert Loggia voicing Grandpa Jehan Daas.
AnimEigo outlines the film’s plot:
Dog of Flanders: The Movie is a 1997 remake of the classic 1975 anime series about the bond between a boy and his faithful dog living in a 19thcentury Flanders village near Antwerp in the Netherlands. The emotional story shows the boy’s struggles in life and his hopes of becoming a great classical painter.
Geneon Entertainment first brought the film to DVD back in 2000. Both the movie and its television predecessor draw inspiration from Marie Louisa De La Ramée’s 1872 novel A Dog of Flanders (published under the pen name Ouida).

A comprehensive home video package is also on the way for Yayoiso‘s ReLIFE anime adaptation. The upcoming set will bundle together the 13-episode television series alongside its four-part OVA finale, complete with options for both Japanese audio with subtitles and the English dub.
AnimEigo summarizes the narrative:
ReLIFE is a 2016 comedy series about Arata Kaizaki, a 27-year-old unemployed man who joins an experiment rehabilitation program for shut-ins. He takes a special drug to look 10 years younger and returns to high school for one year to fix his life.
The series initially premiered via the Comico app in June 2016 before hitting Japanese television the following month. Crunchyroll simulcast the series with subtitles, while Funimation later produced an English dub. The concluding four episodes debuted on home video in Japan in 2018 and streamed on Amazon Prime.

Fans of classic fantasy adventure can expect a high-definition restoration of the four-part OVA Ruin Explorers – Fam & Ihrie on Blu-ray in 2027.
AnimEigo outlines the plot:
Set in an alternate fantasy world, it follows Fam and Ihrie, two female treasure hunters working to find the “Ultimate Power.”
First released in 1995, the project was written and directed by Takeshi Mori (Gunsmith Cats, Otaku no Video, Vandread), with a musical score composed by Masamichi Amano (Battle Royale, Giant Robo).
The OVA previously saw DVD releases through ADV Films in 2000 and 2004, followed by a 2013 reissue from Maiden Japan.

Finally, AnimEigo is bringing Welcome to Irabu’s Office (Kūchū Buranko) to North American home video for the first time via a 2027 Blu-ray release. The series adapts Hideo Okuda‘s short story collection.
AnimEigo describes the show:
[Welcome to Irabu’s Office] follows the eccentric, child-like psychiatrist Dr. Ichiro Irabu as he treats various patients with bizarre physical manifestations of psychological stress.
The anime originally aired in October 2009 during Fuji TV‘s Noitamina block. It was produced at Toei Animation under director Kenji Nakamura, who reunited with character designer and chief animation director Takashi Hashimoto following their work on Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales and Mononoke.
Though Australian distributor Siren Visual previously put out a DVD version in 2011, AnimEigo’s upcoming package will include a brand-new English dub.
